Rambu Solo is a funeral procession for the people of Tana Toraja, which is not like a funeral in general. Ma'Palao or Ma'Pasonglo, which is the procession of corpses from the Tongkonan House area to a funeral complex called Lakkian.

The second procession is Performing Arts.

The procession was carried out not only to enliven but also as a form of respect and prayer for people who have died. In the Procession of Performing Arts you can watch: Procession buffalo that will become a sacrifice Performing some regional music, namely Pa'Pompan, Pa'Dali-dali, and Unnosong. Performing several traditional dances, including Pa'Badong, Pa'Dondi, Pa'Randing, Pa'katia, Pa'Papanggan, Passailo and Pa 'Silaga Tedong. Kupa beach. Nico Pasaka, PT.Ramayana Satria, Alm prof. Darmawan Mas'ud Guru besar sejarah Unhas, dan Guide,2 yang hebat pada zamannya. Dr.stanis laus sandarupa, Herman Nari ex Direktor Toraja Highland, dll. Singkat kata setelah berjumpa dgn pak prof. Dermawan tanpa basa basi Beliau akan memberikan gaji ,3 bulan kedepan tanpa ikatan kerja hingga masuk tahun baru 1986. Alias gaji percuma tanpa kerja. Masa itu pak Simon Maraya adalah salah satu guide Jerman yang menguji bhs. Jerman saya selain Alm. Pak Hong.akhirnya saya lebih memilih pak Nico sebagai mitra kerja. Terima kasih bagi yang telah bersama menjadi ujung tombak pariwisata masa lalu, yang telah menikmati bagaimana sukarnya menaiki tranport Jeep dari bandara Mandai, hingga sampai di hotel Toraja cottage. Hotel baranangsiang, batu papan, Maria ,2. Missliana zaman dulu dengan harus berebut kunci kamar dan bersitegang dengan guide senior seperti pak Ahmad Arab, dan pak Rauf.he.he..he.. pengalaman yg indah dan menakjubkan sebagai bentuk model perekrutan yg bernilai mahal.dan dan terbayarkan oleh nilai uang.

the Pamona dialect 'Tando Bone' means 'Sandy Land-tongue'.

The Tando Bone hotel bungalows are located on the eastern shores of beautiful Lake Poso; the pure and enchanting highland lake amidst the sloping hills and primary rainforest of Central Sulawesi.

Tando Bone is reached by boat from Tentena in half an hour. Tando Bone is also reached by car in half an hour from Tentena followed by a five minute boat ride from the Tando Bone garage. The Tando Bone-site is 1,5 hours from Poso at the 'Gulf of Tomini', 6 hours from Palu, 5 hours from the National Park Lore Lindu and 10 hours from RantePao in Tanah Toraja (that is, with public transport; the region can more comfortably and easier be explored by rental car).

Lake Poso


At 515 meters altitude the 37 kilometers long and 13 kilometers wide (at its widest point, that is) fresh water lake is bounded by steeply sloping mountains on the west and the gentle hills of the east-side where Tando Bone lies.

Nearby attractions include the Lore Lindu National park, the Bada Valley with its mysterious megaliths, caves in and around Tentena and the splendid Saluopa waterfall.
